Suggested Needle/Hook Sizes and Gauge:
Needle Size: 2.5 - 4mm (US 1.5 - 6) needles and C - G hook
Gauge (stocking stitch): 28sts x 36 rows over 10cm/4 inches on 3.25mm (US 3) needles
Since this is hand dyed yarn, there are subtle differences between the skeins. If purchasing multiple skeins, it is recommended to alternate between them. 
Care Instructions: Machine washable on a wool program ideally using a wool detergent in COLD water. Dry flat, do not sun dry or tumble dry. Avoid wringing and twisting.
 
BFL fiber is fine, silky, lustrous and strong - an incredibly versatile fiber.
It's naturally soft but also good for items that are subject to wear such as socks, mittens, sweaters and hats. It drapes well without heaviness due to the natural crimp of the fiber and, with long staple fibers, these yarns are less prone to pilling than many wools. Because of the natural luster of the fiber it  emphasizes the shape of stitches so is ideal for textured stitches and cables.
