For a first box, the Nestling Box made a very strong case for itself. The bird theme is clever without being kitschy, the dye work is gorgeous, and the yarn quality is exactly what you hope for when you pick the sparkle sock base. And the size options actually make sense: Hatchling if you want to dip a toe in, Nestling if you want a real project, and Fledgling if you’re feeling bold. As first impressions go, this one was excellent.
